First visit one afternoon during tourist season. We were seated immediately. The waitress seemed preoccupied and not very attentive. I ordered fried shrimp & fish platter which was no where near fresh. My platter, fries and all was extremely greasy. My husband's chicken sandwich was just average. It was nothing at all as expected. The menu looks more appealing than what you get.

This is a great location, just off the boardwalk in Lake Worth...at the old Casino. The food was good and prices typical. The outdoor seating gives one a view of the beach, though not as good as Benny's, which is right on the pier. Inside appeared dark, and less inviting. Our party of four enjoyed Mulligan's, our waiter was great, and we'll return. Parking can be tough on weekends, and costs $2 an hour, which might deter some, especially if you're intending to enjoy a day at the beach.

If you love the beach as much as I do and sipping a cocktail outside on a beautiful day and being next to the ocean sounds like a good way to spend a lazy afternoon then Mulligan's is the only place in Lake Worth to go. Literally...... Pros: ocean view, decent prices, good cocktails( the Bloody Mary is pretty awesome!) and pretty good service. Cons: food is never more then 3 stars, very touristy, parking lot WILL be packed on a nice day and unless you have a Lake Worth parking pass it's $2.00 an hour. Not bad for parking if you can find a spot. I've eaten there for breakfast lunch and dinner and tried almost everything on the menu. I've never disliked my meal choice but the cocktails are way better then the food. If they had a Happy Hour I would definitely give them an additional star because I think the drinks and drink selection are great and especially for a beach location but they rarely have any specials.

Great food. Great Location. Friendly staff. I enjoyed every aspect of my visit. I had the Mahi Sliders and Conch Fritters and it was amazing. Our waitress at the bar was very friendly and provided great service. We could see the beach from where we were sitting and there are plenty of TVs to keep you entertained! I will definitely return to this location. I've been to the one in Jensen Beach and Vero Beach and this one in Lake Worth is my favorite!

If you are in the mood for fried food then I guess maybe this would be the place to go--but not even then is it that good. They have healthier things on their menu like 'fresh' fish, which I am not sure how fresh it is, but everything food wise seems to taste pretty bland, and not like anything spectacular or delicious. The food isn't necessarily bad but it definitely isn't great/worth coming back to. I have gotten fresh shucked oysters twice now for an appetizer....they don't taste "fresh" and both times when I had them at Mulligans I got sick afterwards, so clearly something was up with those oysters! I normally keep it simple with my food at Mulligans because nothing on their menu sticks out at me so I normally get a salad. I will say that their sesame ginger dressing is really good, I definitely love it! My mom got their mussels one time, and they smelled really bad and then the broth they were in was like tasting pure salt, my mom couldn't even eat her mussels. And like I said before anyone else with us eating fried food or fresh fish wasn't impressed. Their Asian Dragon Salad isn't good, the shrimp taste pretty gross, and with their Gorgonzola Salad they seriously over kill it with the cranberries they put in. It's too much, I even asked for NO CRANBERRIES one time and they completely disregarded it so I had to send my plate back and wait forever for them to bring me another one. Their sangria I am not impressed with at all so normally I just stick to wine. I don't want to criticize this place too much because I am the type of person who likes 5 star restaurants but every once in a while its nice to just keep it casual but even then I don't think I'll come back anymore, I want to try that Benny's on the beach that everyone is talking about. This place could have so much potential because it's literally right on the beach, so there is a beautiful view when you are eating. Mulligans is kind of the perfect place for going after you have had a beach day or something and getting a bite while your all gross from the beach. I haven't explored any of the shops next door because it just all seems like touristy type t-shirt shops and what not. If you are a tourist I would most definitely recommend NOT coming to this little casino tourist trap area because there are so many better places to go to like in Deerfield Beach or Delray Beach! Also the staff is a little bit annoying. Each time I have come they have either payed little to no attention to us, gotten our orders wrong, and have had a bad attitude like they don't want to be working there. Or they have just been overly annoying by coming over to our table about 5 minutes to check on us. I think checking on us is nice but I mean coming over every 5 minutes literally, and INTERRUPTING our conversations where we lose our train of thoughts just gets annoying. There is a way to go about checking on a table-- look over at the table and if they aren't looking around/looking for you and if they are eating and having a conversation then leave that table annoying. But then again like I said this isn't like a 5 star elegant type of place its more of a dive bar type place so of course their servers don't really know proper etiquette. Parking wise it is very annoying, you have to park soooo far away from the restaurant, track down a paying station to pay for your space, which I didn't see many portals so it was annoying having to wait in a long line, and then walk up a big hill to get the this place. I would suggest getting a valet stand somewhere or something because it would be very valuable for a place like this. Anyways, if you are looking for better restaurants and better activity and shops that are located right on the beach, then like I said before go to Deerfield Beach or Delray Beach on Atlantic Ave.

We were staying nearby at The Four Seasons and didn't want to pay a fortune for breakfast this morning (we did that yesterday) and this place came recommended for breakfast. It was a really short walk on the beach, or road...we took the water view. Place is located on beach next to a pizza place and Kilwins. We were seated right away and the view was beautiful. Cute atmosphere and very clean! Our waitress (forgot her name) was sweet, friendly and quick! I ordered the egg and pancake platter. Two golden pancakes, scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage. Pancakes were perfect! Scrambled eggs were typical, and the potatoes were pretty good. My husband ordered the egg platter with is basically the same thing minus the pancakes. He had asked for double bacon instead of bacon and sausage...no problem! When we were served, no double bacon. He reminded the waitress and immediately she brought out a plate with several bacon slices on it, apologized and asked if we needed anything else. I started talking to her and she said they usually pack out on the weekends around lunch time, but dinner is sometimes slow. She stated that it's 'dark' and no one wants to pay for parking...that sucks!! I would definitely go back to this place if in the neighborhood...everything looked good!

Great location, our service was very good, food was good not great but no real complaints. I'd go there again although it is pricey. Crab flatbread appetizer was delicious. Chowder was good but not hot. The Mahi was good, big plate of food. Firecracker quesadilla was just ok...too wet on the inside...I think that they put some sauce in it that kept me from really liking it. Note to staff...make your menu description match your actual dish. Beer was cold and we could see the ocean...that's always a plus.

We're from out of town so we won't have to come back but very disappointing. Starting with waitress spilling water on 2 of us. We didn't really care but she gave up on us after that. Wrong appetizer ordered still was charged. She was awful awful. Everything tastes like fish. Even the broccoli and mashed potatoes.

First time customer. The ambiance is very nice and service was fast. Maybe a little too fast. Our order came out of the kitchen within 5 minutes of ordering our food. I order a marinated chicken sandwich, however it seemed to lack any marinate. The chicken was tender and so was the bread. I was hungry so I made due without putting up a fuss. If you don't drink alcohol, your non alcoholic beverage options are limited to water, soda, ice tea and O'dulles. Would I consider coming back, probably not.

I now have had four meals at Mulligans and have been disappointed every time. I tried different menu items believing that I chose the wrong item. The Club Sandwich I ordered last night was absolutely unappealing. How can a restaurant knowingly put out that product. How can you screw up a Club Sandwich, but Mulligans is able to do it. It was just some ham and cheese on a French Roll. Bread not toasted, no bacon, no mayonnaise, no lettuce. I had to stay across the street, so this was an obvious choice for a restaurant. Luckily, I have a car and can make other choices. Look elsewhere if you are looking for a dinning experience in this area.

I go to work when some people are just getting home from a night out, so I was excited when the other half asked to meet me for a beachside breakfast at Mulligan's. We'd been wanting to go there since the new Lake Worth Beach Area was remodeled. We ordered the Breakfast Platter and the Cakes & Eggs. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and fabulous. Coffee refills were spot on, and you couldn't beat the view from the sidewalk table where we sat. The breakfast was good. Nice portions, tasty and timely. Nothing really stood out, but it was good and reasonably priced. I will definitely go back, remember to ask for the 'Locals' card where you get points with each meal...

The only pleasant thing was the view. I had the firecracker shrimp quesadalla, they wrte cold with un-melted cheese, not spicy(hence the naming as I was told), bland and very sweet. My sister and her husband shared the wings and flat bread pizza, both were cold, and bland. The goat cheese and spinach on the flat bread was covered in a syrupy brown sauce. My husband ordered their "specialty" fish and chips I belive this was the biggest disaster. The fish was soggy, it was greasy. It.was if they fried the fish and refried it to reheat. The beer tasted watered down.. Our bill was over a hundred bucks. Not worth the money or the stomach issues though the night and next day. The service was mediocre.

Nice atmosphere, Great view, good service, food is pretty good for a chain restaurant. For people who eat gluten-free and need to, like if you have celiac, anything fried does not have a designated gluten-free fryer. So therefore not gluten-free. I selected the fish and chips. When It came I was surprised to see it was breadcrumbed (I never ever had or seen fish and chips coated in breadcrumbs wtf.) and looked a little over Fried!! so I kept an open mind and tried it, I love new foods! Yeah, well not this one. It was like stuffing a hotdog in a taco shell and calling it a new York City dirty water dog! Plus overcooked. Put some tomato sauce and some mozzarella cheese on it and you would've had a nice fish cutlet Parmesan. So I traded it in for the sesame crusted tuna appetizer which was not bad. The only other bummer was paying six dollars and change for a draft beer! I would also like to thank the people sitting behind us who decided to feed the pigeons next to our table. After asking them three times to please stop in front of the waitress I had to get up and demand they stop. I thought management should've handled that situation.

Awesome food and awesome view of the ocean! I would take any of my family and friends who came to visit here. I love it!

Bloody Marry looks great , but looks aren't everything ! Too much horseradish and not enough of anything else ... Can I recommend using Mrs T's mix from the store? Fish and chips and grouper rueben were good

Average Pub food with very nice outdoor seating facing the ocean. Beer was very pricey, find a better deal elsewhere.

So this is my second time there. The first time I went I bit into a moldy muffin. Whatever it happens. They, "didn't rotate them". That wouldn't have been that bad had the waitress not said I was lying. Only for the kitchen manager to come out and say I was right. Whatever. They had just opened. I went back last night. The first thing I ordered was the fish dip.(I remembered that being good) Which immediately pissed me off because it was mostly mayonnaise with a small amount of fish. So instead of keeping the integrity of the food. They decided to stretch it to save some money. Cool. At least this time the waitress was nice. Everything else was mediocre at best. Its basically large amounts of mediocre food. So if you like that and paying a lot for drinks and not getting a buzz go here. This place is taking full advantage of being on the beach.

    (2)
  • Jamie S.

Service is disappointing, food is over priced, and if you like fried, unhealthy food, it's the place for you. Better off going else where!

  • Han Y.

Stayed at a hotel nearby and came here to eat because it was near the beach. The view definitely was nice and there were lots of spaces available, even outside. The reason this place is getting a one is because of the food.... - Mussels: they were way overcooked/not fresh...not sure which of two it was. I've never had mussels this bad at a restaurant before and I've definitely had them at many. - Oysters: the oysters were definitely not fresh at all. They had a strong fishy smell. - Lobster salad: My mom didn't like her lobster salad, and I tried it and it seemed to be alright, but that might just be compared to the mussels I had gotten. The sizes of the dishes were pretty big..

I only briefly stopped by this establishment for a beverage and some brief hang time so I can't provide much feedback. My rating may change based on future visitation. I ordered a Bloody Mary and specifically asked for it to be insanely spicy.....they accomodated. It came garnished with limes, lemons, olives and a giant shrimp. Service was speedy.

One star only because I have to! Service was awful, forgot my son's drink, never offered a refill to the rest of us, waited at table 15 minutes before we even got a server, while we were waiting for our food 5 other groups came in after us and got their food first, they sprayed champagne all over us while making mimosas, the waitress (Adrienne?) was a total bitch and the manager was incredibly rude too!! Not to mention they served us French toast that wasn't even cooked, bread soaked in raw egg! Will never be back!

Great atmosphere, right on the beach. Cute restaurant, beach like decorations. Very touristy. Large menu to pick from and a lot of drinks however their food quality and service is just average. Been here a couple times and you really have to be careful what you order. Stick to simple things. First time I went for breakfast and got a shrimp omelet and it was awfulI. Next time I went I had chicken fajitas and they were decent. If you're looking more at location and atmosphere then it's a fun, chill place to hang out... get some drinks and finger food. However Benny's On The Beach is just down the street ON the lake worth pier looking over the ocean and their food is about the same in price and WAY better. Parking for the Lake Worth Beach Casino since its renovation has increased in price and decreased in easy accessibility. The meters are now $2 an hour with a 2 hour minimum if you pay with a card or mobile app.

Tourist trap. Great location, terrible food. Excellent service - the waiter was fast, attentive and friendly. The food was overpriced, overcooked, and under seasoned (in that it was not seasoned at all). I probably should have went to Benny's.

  • Katrina H.

Pretty decent menu. Location is great. Prices are fair considering the beach front seating. Unfortunatly the new seating is EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE!! Me and my family are in no way large, obese, sickly, old, picky, or in need of handicapped seating. Steak was severely undercooked. Literally cold on both ends... Poached eggs arrived undercooked and sitting in an inch of water. Food had need good in the past. Wll think twice before returning

Best Fish n Chips in palm beach county. Lobster Melt very unique. I've never had a better Bloody mary, and to top it all off excellent service, will be back 3 or 8 times a week.

The only thing this place has going for it is location. I've been in a few times & unless I sit at the bar, I can't seem to get served. Servers overlook you while carrying on conversations w/ each other. No apologies for the lack of customer service or inefficiencies & the prices are outrageous for the mediocre product they are serving. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice... Never going back

Lunch at this beautiful establishment on the beach is excellent. The crab cake sliders are delicious and they come with a tasty side salad. The service is impeccable. The last time we went, we had a waiter named Jack. He was very attentive and had an excellent attitude. He even told us about their rewards card. We will be returning.

The food is just OK. Nothing to go out of your way to go eat. The wait staff is friendly and the service is good. Its good to have something as alternative at the beach.

  • Shannen C.

Very disappointed with the monster fish and chips, definitely would not recommend, the only "monster" on this dish that the size!! It was huge!! Fish had absolutely no flavor, it had too much batter, enabling to taste the fish, i got actually tired of trying to take it off the only thing that actually added flavor to the dish was the tartar sauce, we also had the baby back ribs and the top steak sirloin , continuing with the ribs they did fall off the bone like they stated on their menu, they were okay (keep in mind portions are huge) the sirloin was absolutely a disaster no flavor at all huge dissapointment. Overall dont expext too much from their food its just okay the service was good.

What a nice surprise! We were staying at the Omphoy hotel and walked over in the morning for breakfast. The service was really good and the breakfast was delicious . I had a basic breakfast with eggs and bacon. Mimosas are good and meals are simple yet delicious. Nice tables are situated outside facing the view of the ocean. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommend!

Great location right near the beach, clean establishment, friendly service, and a hearty and tasty American-style breakfast with lots of drink options, including Bloody Mary's and Mimosas. Good coffee, too.

At the bar having cocktails before dinner. Lovely place, great atmosphere, terrible bar management. It's not busy, there are 3 people behind the bar, but we're not getting service. No bar backs, servers are bussing tables... Love it but it needs management instead of chaos.

  • Danielle B.

Fried fish sliders were awesome and their Bloody Mary is top notch. Been for both brunch and lunch and haven't been disappointed. Especially love sitting outside right by the beach. They say their fish and chips is legendary so I think I may have to try that next time.

I went there last night with the wifey... this place is right on the beach with outside seating overlooking the water. We sat outside in the front and the view was spectacular! If we were giving stars for location and view, this is a 5 star for us. But we had to eat. And drink. We started with the $5 Long Island Ice Tea. I could almost tell by the waiter's face when I ordered it that we probably got the wrong thing. How do you screw up a drink? Especially one that every bartender from Florida to Washington state knows how to make? Well... you make it from a mix. It tasted of cheap alcohol and had none of the smoothness that I am used to with a Long Island Ice Tea. For appetizer, we got the calamari. If it was calamari... it was overcooked. If it was pig anus... it was cooked perfectly. It was all really thick rings and there were none of the bodies that you normally get when you pay $12 for calamari. And if you don't get the reference to pig anus... just look here: shopping.yahoo.com/news/… For our main course, the waiter was really pushing the "Fish 'n Chips". I mean pushing it really hard. I heard the pitch 3 different times at 3 different tables. Regrettably, we succumbed to his suggestion. If you are a "Fish 'n Chips" connoisseur, you will immediately pick out the problem with this dish: they use the wrong fish! We are in FLORIDA! On the BEACH! I'm staring at water full of the best dolphin, grouper and snapper in the world and what they do they choose for this dish? BASA! If you don't know what that is, it is an imitation catfish from Vietnam. They also used the wrong breading... a heavy panko with rosemary. It might have been a good breading for chicken, but for a very soft, almost mushy mild fish, it was too much. All you could taste was the breading and it did not adhere to the fish at all. The regular fries were much better than the sweet potato fries, and I usually love sweet potato fries. Dessert was AWESOME! We got the Chocolate Paradise which was an explosion of various types of chocolate and was really good. Get your own... you will NOT want to share. So if the food is so bad, why am I giving it 2 stars? The VIEW! If we go back, we would just get beer or wine and dessert. There's also an excellent ice cream shop two doors down.

Walked the 500 yards from our hotel looking for some dinner. We we greeted and seated quickly and given a great view (half in half outside looking at the wind surfers on the Atlantic Ocean. At first, I thought we might get lost in the shuffle with the waiters but soon my hurricane George and hubby's Funky Buddha draft beer arrived and we were digging the sea breeze. The conch fritters fresh and I got some good chewing aka conch inside them satisfaction. Nice hot creamy dipping sauce accompany too. The Grouper Rueben with Thousand Island dressing and coleslaw was great and my honey's 12 "blue point" oysters arrived and he said they were tasty plump! If in the area, a fun place to stop in and enjoy.

I always have fun when i come here, even if I'm just by myself. The staff will keep you laughing and having a good time. All their drinks are amazing. The food is decent but it's basically just bar food with a really nice view, but definitely will keep coming back.

This has to be one of the worst restaurants in Palm Beach County!!!! We had to wait for over 15 minutes before someone came for our order. The waitress looked and acted like she was out to lunch,if you know what Imean. The food was horrible!!! All frozen stuff !!!! My wife and I ordered the linguine and clams. Tasted like they dumped can clams and cheap linguine no taste!!! Two other tables were also complaining around us. The manager acted like they never have people that complain!!! What a bad place!!!

  • Ellen M.

I have been there for 2 times and I can say for sure that the food is lower to average quality and the only the cappuccino coffee is really good. the staff is no helpfull, no fast.the first time we been there we sat down fast but on a dirty table and I got a menu after 10 minutes with the waitress to push us out really fast. The second time we been there we wait for the waitress for 15 minutes to give us menus because she was bar tendering also. No manager around.I can find better fried food around here thanks but no. Plus this place needs to be clean(if the, doors are close you can't see anything outside from the dust they have, and that food on the floor is common sense that you need to sweep before you sit the people down) and to add some more items in the menu especially on the breakfast one. So one star for the coffee and one to star for the view

I have to help these guys out with the stars because they are getting hammered lately. Been here 6 times, 3 for breakfast, 3 for lunch/dinner. food has been great each time. fresh, tasty, good presentation, good value. Service is always good if not a little too eager. The staff is a little over the top enthusiastic sometimes with the upselling etc but I would rather have that all day than poor service. I think both Mulligans and Bennys have really good food and service, try either one-

Mediocre fried food, below par service, generally disappointing. Such a shame since the location is hard to beat. We live close by but refuse to go.

Finally made it back to Lake Worth Beach upon the completion of their renovation project. Parking is a breeze, as is walking to the oceanfront restaurant in the seabreeze. We were quickly seated for lunch and greeted by a very friendly waitress, who suggested some frozen cocktails to start us off on the right foot. I had a firecracker shrimp wrap (which was overflowing!) and french fries. The meal and service were both outstanding, and the price was perfect considering we were right on the beach. Can't wait to return!

Simple but good, fresh food at a great location. Outside seating means you can drink a delicious Bloody Mary while looking at the ocean. A great place to bring visitors.

Told us we can try back in 35 minutes . Not seating anyone because kitchen is "overwhelmed". Seriously?! Do they know how a restaurant is supposed to work? Wow, stay away

I went to Mulligan's during the opening week and did not review it as I wanted to give it another chance to work out the kinks. The food is pretty standard it will not blow you away although the blue cheese burger was not bad. They did a nice job with the decor although the tv placement is terrible (like watching a movie from the front row). Being on the ocean they will get plenty of foot traffic even though the food is over-priced for the area and the Happy Hour specials are pretty weak. With all that said if the service was great and hospitable I would definitely frequent this place. This brings me to my visit today. I arrived at 3:30pm and sat on one side of the bar with my wife (only people on that side of bar). The bar was covered with plates, glasses, silverware and napkins. We sat down and waited to be greeted and for the bartender or barback to clear the mess. We waited until 3:40, in the 10 minutes we waited no one even came by to greet us and/or tell us they would be with us shortly. Not only that but no one even cleared the bar. The bar was a mess but the service was truly worse. In a service industry it amazes me every time when I come across a restaurant like this. This restaurant has been open long enough and it was not overly crowded so there is no excuse. I wonder what will happen come peak season...well I won't know because I will just hit up Bennie's on the Beach. Being from Lake Worth we are always looking for local places especially places on the water. This being less than a mile from our house we thought it would be a great weekly place. Unfortunately the service is really bad and that includes my first visit. I though I was more than fair to at least give them another shot. We ended up leaving today so frustrated that no one would even greet us and/or give us a menu. What a disappointing restaurant. They may survive because they are the only restaurant in the casino but they are not John G's (a local favorite and legend), just an overpriced experience with terrible service. Mike

Came here for breakfast and ordered a delicious French Toast platter. The view of the ocean was amazing with the sun rising from the horizon. The customer service was great and got to meet the owners. A walk on the pier is a must after a meal.

Although the pricing was a little more than I anticipated for a $$ restaurant, the restaurant was great! My wife had a bleu bacon burger and I had a grilled Mahi sandwich. Both were amazing and the portion sizes were adequate. Our server was incredible, very personable and her suggestions were spot on. I was really surprised that the overall review is 3 stars.

  • Jake M.

My wife and decided to have dinner on the outside patio. It seemed like a cool restaurant by the beach. The server had an attitude and we thought it was us. But, he had the same attitude with the table next to us. They were just as confused as us! The fish was overlooked, food was average at best. There was only one ketchup bottle for the group of out side tables. So, it was taken to three tables while we were there. Not worth going back, should have tried the pizza place!

  • Jennifer V.

This place is only getting a star because our waiter was really nice. However I had a bug in my drink and my friend had a hair (pretty sure it was a pube) in her sandwich. Would never go back to this place. The manager seemed totally aggravated she ha to come over to our table. She was extremely short with us. She offers us another sandwich. Thanks but no thanks, One pubic hair sandwich is enough. They did take 17 dollars off our bill. So that was nice of them.

Over all I'd say this is a classic S. Florida tourist trap. Great location, everything else was pretty bad. Our waitress was among the worst I've encountered. She didn't seem to care and when we politely let her know that the dish came incorrectly she replied "you didn't say that". Not the right way to handle it! The bad service went on from there but I won't bore you with the details. The bloody mary, while attractive (tall, well garnished, large steamed shrimp on top) was all looks and no substance. It was solidly the worst I've ever had. It tasted like it was made with ketchup and Dubra. My fried chicken biscuits and gravy were the heart attack I was looking for but my girlfriend's 13.00 pancakes were totally lame. If you're looking for a good meal, avoid.

Although this area on the beach is currently going through some renovations and construction, the restaurant itself was a great spot to visit for breakfast/brunch. The location directly across from the beach is an ideal place to bask in the sun and watch the surfers catch waves! This new restaurant was clean and the wait staff extremely friendly. Our server, Vincent (?) was gracious and very hospitable. I ordered the French toast which was very good. Looking forward to coming back for the happy hour specials!

Great breakfast, service , location. Best bloodymarys. With a shrimp and a celery stick. Parking with the construction sucks tho.

My wife and I ate breakfast here twice while staying at the Omphoy resort. Great price for the food and walking distance! Both times I ate the Cakes and eggs and she got the biscuits in gravy! Wonderful view if sitting outside! Great atmosphere and the wait staff is friendly! A must go!

I was back at Mulligan's recently for breakfast (last time we were here was December 2012). First the Lake Worth Casino and park construction is mostly done and the whole park looks wonderful. Location and view is five stars. I sat outside, but undercover and very much enjoyed the view. Second, service had improved since our last visit. My wait person was helpful and attentive but she let me sit and work on my to do list (it was Sat. morning and I was heading to errands) and read my book without interruptions. They are still doing what I call team service in that the person who waits on you is not the person who expedites the food, I'm not a huge fan of this system as the person who brings you your food is always a little unsure. I had a Mulligans "special" blood mary which comes with a shrimp, olive, lime, lemon and celery garnish in a special frozen glass. It was a great way to start my Sat, well mixed and the presentation was lovely. I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict and found it to be delish. My only comment would be that they should lightly heat up the smoked salmon before adding it to the eggs benedict presentation. I might turn down the music just a smidge as I found it a bit overwhelming. Overall, I found breakfast to be 4 star, pricing was on par with other waterfront breakfast destinations, service has improved since opening, food was tasty and well prepared.

Yup after probably 20 minutes of being at Mulligans, you could tell Lake Worth picked the best possible restaurant for its prime location. I try and hold back a review until after a few visits. This place needed just one. A quality bar, great location, solid food, ample seating, friendly staff, plenty of tvs, chill vibes. What else do you need?

Way better than the previous place! The fish tacos are the best I have had, the price is right, and the location is perfect. Don't miss out on this newly re-done plaza.

Went here for lunch, the mahi fish tacos were really good. The sweet tea was good, the fries were cooked perfectly. I'll be going back to try it again but so far it's a great lunch spot.

I just finished lunch here with my mother and father. We paid $65 for a bunch of nothing. I had the "Fish and Chips". Fish was WAY overcooked, fries were cold and coleslaw tasted as if it were stored in the refrigerator with other foods. My father's "Monster Fish Sandwich" was the same: overcooked mush. My mother ordered a crab cake (ONE CRAB CAKE WAS $9.95) and it was terrible. The soups (corn chowder and clam chowder) were as thick as gravy and the clam chowder tasted SOUR. Awful bar food at restaurant prices. I don't see how this place will last.

Don't rush over there to eat. Staff is very nice. Cute place, too bad the food was a disappointment. somebody needs to taste their FOOD! Vegetables over cooked, fish was bland, I had blackened grouper, had no flavor, asked for cocktail sauce. My boyfriend had the mahi, soup was too salty to eat. . Nice environment. The staff was very nice but they didn't seemed organized.

Best peanut butter pancakes ever. It took half an hour to get syrup for them worst customer service ever. I was seen by 4 different servers, of which I didn't even know which to ask for anything.

I feel it's important to let everyone know that Mulligans serves basa fish as their menu item for fish and chips. Basa is farm raised catfish from the Mekong Delta in Vietnam that has industrial waste dumped in the same waters that they farm raise these fish. Don't let Mulligans great location and their statement that their fish is fresh and caught locally, fool you, it's not true! I have always felt the food was mediocre at best, but when a friend of mine recently became violently ill after eating the fish at Mulligans I just had to share this. We would have never known it was basa had the waiter not proudly said "you will love the basa fish, it's great!" Did not know what kind of fish that was until I looked it up. I can't even begin to explain how sick my friend was! I felt it important to share this.

We have needed a place on the beach which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.Breakfast is great with eggs, pancakes( fantastic),french toast, benedicts and more. Lunch and dinner feature many wonderful appetizers, great shrimp cocktail, steamed clams, wings, seared tuna roll and much more. In addition there are many sandwiches, burgers and great main dishes. We have tried the fried fish- huge and delicious, grilled salmon, steak, ribs and many of the sadwiches, salads and burgers all of which we would order again. The service is great, severs are attentative and helpful and the view is wonderful.

Great location across the street from the beach. Good menu selection. Peanut butter pancakes were good and feta and spinach omelet good size. Waitress was on the snippy side and not apologetic when I was given wrong order. Manager also not accommodating when we asked if shade could be pulled down to block the sun. Said the owner would be upset.

This new place will not last. Happy hour is aweful hardley even offering any drink or food special. The honey and garlic wings were aweful. They were the smallest wings with a ton of honey on top and a bunch of chopped garlic, no taste at all. Service is meiacra at best. The hamburger was plain and lacked in flavor. Other people were sending back food and complaining as well.

I loved this place! Went for breakfast Tues Oct 23rd with their $10.00 coupon they gave us in the Post and enjoyed every bite and every minute. The food was good and plenty of it, the view excellent, friendly folks, great service. Beautiful lighted countertops in the bathroom, lovely ocean decor. I could live there. This is my new favorite place in town and can't wait to come back for lunch and dinner. Love the colorful adhirondack chairs out front to watch the ocean and relax. It's the best of all the locations and they are all good. When everyone finds out this place is open it will be packed. A great place to bring tourist frends or relatives.

Went to Mulligan's for breakfast with family on a Friday morning. The place was not busy at all, which brings me to why I was not happy about the service. Our server came over "once" after the food was placed at our table and asked " is everything OK" and yes it was at that moment. However, that was the last time we saw her. She never came around again to fill our water glasses or offer to refill our coffee mugs. Meanwhile, I noticed another server with not just "one" coffee carafe both "two". I can only assume one was for regular coffee and the other decaf. I will not go there again for breakfast. I will stick with breakfast on the Pier. I may give Mulligan's another try perhaps for lunch. Perhaps the servers will be more with it.

Service and food were mediocre. We were seated right away and given a menu. It took 17 minutes for anyone to come to our table. Not good. Then when the waitress did come, she called me Sweety and Sweetheart. Not good unless you are a little kid. The food was average, burgers were good but fries were recooked and crispy greasy. My steamed shrimp was good but laying on an un-ediable bed of wilted lettuce. Refills for water and soda were not offered.

Went for late breakfast and was happy to see they had Crab Benedict as a special. But, by the time we waited for a table and were seated, it was just after noon. When I ordered the Crab Benedict, I was told that they were not serving breakfast anymore. No exceptions! Okay, so, although disappointed, I ordered the Sian Firecracker salad and the Seafood Bisque. The bisque was okay, but it was very spicy - odd for a seafood bisque. The salad had nice-sized breaded shrimp, but the "Asian" title seemed to be due to a dressing and some strangely "plastic" noodles. Not too appetizing. My companion had a burger and said it was okay, but she asked for it to be cooked medium well and it came out medium rare. The place is attractive and has a great location, but the food was very average-to-poor. Service was pretty good. Maybe 1 1/2 stars but no more. Too bad, as I was hoping for this place to be very successful as the city did a great job on the revitalizing of the casino building and area.

well its on the beach and the food is not bad, but some of the food is priced a little high , you may get a better deal in Two Jays across the bridge where the parking is free.

Came here for breakfast the day before labor day at around 10:30. No wait. The food was good. I got french toast with eggs, bacon and potatoes. Really more than I could eat, but it was all very tasty. The waitstaff was friendly and Johnny on the Spot with the coffee refills. The parking for this establishment sucks. Not only is it pay parking, it is pretty far away from the restaurant.

Walked over for breakfast and sat outside with a nice view of the ocean. + Super prompt service; server was incredibly friendly. + Simple breakfast menu + Extremely high-quality (and large quantity) of egg whites in the "Fit & Simple" breakfast. Eggs were perfectly cooked, not greasy, not overdone, and very fluffy. + Fresh fruit was tasty and perfectly ripe - Only hot sauce option was Tabasco - Coffee was slightly off in flavor Looks like a great place. I'll be back before I leave!

We stopped here for breakfast before heading down to the beach one morning. We were greeted and immediately sat right down at an outside table with a great view of the ocean. Yay! Tracey was our server and she came right over to get our drink order. She was extremely personable and very nice!!! We took a few minutes to look over the menu and finally made our decisions. I ordered the French Toast with fresh strawberries and my boyfriend got the Chicken and gravy. My french toast was delicious! It was served piping hot and came with bacon, home fries and eggs. The chicken and gravy was steaming hot too....it had awesome flavor, but was a tad dry, and it was served with biscuits and home dries. Throughout the breakfast Tracey made sure to check on us and refill our drinks multiple times. Before we left I walked through the restaurant just to check out the place, the bar is beautiful it is backlit with an ocean scene. The restroom counters are like that as well. This is a great little spot and we will definitely be back!!! I want to try it out for lunch or dinner.

The Fish and chips is a real good deal and Friday special. The restaurant is on the water and had a good menus and awesome view and breeze with a fun nautical theme. The full bar offers great cocktails and daily specialty drinks. The fish tacos are delicious. The service was reasonably quick even during season and time and servers where friendly and accommodating. Love the Adirondack chairs and colorful theme. Very reasonable prices too.

I was in the area on business and was staying at the hotel across the street, and Mulligans was just a short walk away. Before I go any further, I want to point out that I've worked at many seafood restaurants on Pinellas county beaches, Hurricane, Crabby Bills, Gators, Kingfish. I know that on a rainy chilly evening a week before thanksgiving the beaches can be really slow. I arrived around 7pm, and there were only two or three tables with people in them, never a good sign if your looking for fresh seafood. Most restaurants will freeze their seafood on a slow night, or just not have anything available. Luckily I was wrong. I was seated promptly by Chris who also was my server, who gave me great service through my whole meal. I ordered a glass of wine and the seafood bisque. The bisque was really good, with chunks of shrimp and fish. I asked Chris his thought between the salmon or the mango Mahi mahi. He recommended the mahi and to get it blackend, so that's what I ordered, with red skin mash potatoes and broccoli . It was very very good, fish was cooked perfectly and very moist and spicy, both sides were hot and the broccoli was done just right (not mushy). The decor is your typical beachside seafood restaurant, though it seemed very clean, and well kept up.

The food is great, drinks are great, staff is very welcoming. Right by the beach. Excellent way to spend the Day at the beach. The Bloody Mary is delicious, the blazin' blue berry mojito is a treat for your taste buds. All recommendations from Sean, the waiter. Thumbs up.

Ate at Mulligan's for lunch and dinner while vacationing. Mahi tacos were surprisingly sizable but the cheese was a bit heavy. Cobb salad was solid as was the Caprese Burger. The only serious gripe was that the service was spotty. The staff was friendly but prone to disappear at times. Nice view, don't hesitate to visit unless you're in a hurry.

Nice atmosphere I guess but the waiter was not very pleasant. I ordered the chicken in paradise..there was no paradise about it. Boiled chicken with lettuce, tomato on a bun. No sauce and definitely not marinated either. It tasted so bland. The waiter acted like he didn't want to be there and annoyed when we asked for refill on drinks.

25 dollars down the drain--watery skinny margarita, inedible nachos with a bucket of canned cheese dumped on them, and wings I gave away. And she didn't notice I liked nothing and charged me for everything. Beautiful location. Horrible food and drinks. I will say yesterday's bartender was super sweet and nice.

Don't waste your time!! Server did her best but the food was total let down. Management and kitchen staff are unprofessional, dishonest and lacks customer service skills. Server Kristine was great even with a lack of support from the kitchen. Tipped her even though the experience was horrible!!!! Appetizer Margherita flatbread - tasted like bad pizza because of jar flavored pizza sauce not fresh tomatoes and barely any basil. Entree & whole bad experience Blackened grouper had zero flavor and seasoning and my Atlantic salmon was raw and undercooked in the center. The waitress was great and took my salmon back and she examined the grouper and agreed it looked pale and tried to ask the kitchen if they grilled it instead of blackened and was told it was blackened?!?! It was white!!!! Not even a trace of black pepper or Cajun. The server brought blackened seasoning to the table and it was clear it was never applied to his dish. The manager Luli was called since I returned the raw salmon as I had lost my appetite. She agreed with our concern and said they use Cajun seasoning and don't ever season with black pepper-- she then stated has told the owner herself when she first started that she thought blackened seasoning should be darker and it doesn't appeared seasoned but that said it was the owners choice to use light Cajun seasoning. We both lost our appetites after everything was so disappointing and just wanted to leave and manager Luli (or Lily) agreed to comp our ENTIRE bill. Then as we are getting up to leave she presents us with a bill for two lemonades and the appetizer after telling us she "of course we will take care of the bill". Never again and the other restaurant .... on the beach is worth the wait!! Trust me there is a reason there is very little wait at mulligans!!!!!!!!!!

First visit for dinner was just two of us but we came right back the next day because we had to show friends! The beach front location offers a nice alternative to busy Delray. The portions are plentiful, you can definitely share, and the price is a great value for the amount of food. My server the first time, was not overly friendly, but she did her job in a prompt and courteous manner. The server the second time was much friendlier and interactive. It's pretty quiet location but they have a ton of employees just standing waiting to serve so it leaves me wondering when is the busy time, if not for happy hour?. If you want good food for the right price, ocean view and a quiet bar in the Boynton area, Mulligan's is a great choice.

Stopped in with the family to grab a bite to eat. I was not impressed with the food and thought it was overpriced. I got the chicken wrap and each ingredient was separated. First bite was chicken, second mushroom, third cheese etc. Flavors were bland and I will not return. I could have spent $100 on something much better than this.

Garbage food! Old, soggy lettuce for salad, tuna steak and rice that was seasoned with the same Ol' Bay from a jar. Disgusting food! Too bad such a lousy restaurant has such a nice location. Still doesn't make up for the terrible food.

We came with a party of 9, all seated at different times, no problems! Right on the water, super friendly, actually really really delicious food all around. Linguini with clams, freshhhh fish tacos, grilled salmon, even healthy selections for super picky teans. Huge portions, ample to share. Reasonable prices. They put the basketball games on, 2 different tvs for us. Just wished they served the hard cider on tap, as advertised on menu. Don't hesitate to take your family for a fun night! And order the KEY LIME PIE!

Sadly disappointed. I just now spent $40 on a lunch for me and my 15 year old son. Ice tea, lemonade, a plain hamburger and a mahi sandwich. As a single mom I value my entertainment dollars and since it was such a beautiful day I chose to go here due to its amazing location. I was getting my hair done yesterday and overheard someone raving about the fish sandwich being the best shes ever had. So I really wanted to try it. We were seated at an outdoor table which was nice. Our server came over and gave us a long winded briefing about portion sizes and almost Warned us how much food would be coming w our choices. We knew what we wanted so I kinda cut him off and ordered. It took about 20-25 min to get served our Lukewarm meals First the mahi sandwich was VERY soggy. I never had a fish sandwich soak the bun like this, undercooked and bland. Absolutely no flavor. Same for the cole slaw that came w it. Like no taste at all. Let me add that the plate presentation was next to nothing. A lame tomato, a lemon and that was it. No tartar sauce. I asked for it. It was forgotten. I asked someone else and finally got it and then got the first one I asked for when my server remembered. The fries were frozen, Cisco products used in abundance here. Nothing and I mean NOTHING special about the food and the service was poor to fair. I should've gone somewhere else. Will not return.

Sat down and after 20 minutes we asked hostess for a waiter. Manager came over to take our order. After waiting another 45 minutes and complaining to hostess, a server came over and said they had a problem and asked what we ordered, at that point we walked out. Terrible service.

It takes a lot for me to give a place one star review. Like, I have to be disappointed with basically every aspect of my experience to rate a place this poorly. The problem with Mulligan's is that I think that the only reason it's in business is because of the beautiful location. It's basically a few steps from the ocean. Sitting outside on the patio, you can hear the waves crashing. That's really it's only redeeming quality. I feel like because of the beautiful location, the owners have decided that basically everything else about Mulligan's can be mediocre. The Issues: 1. The Bloody Mary. I ordered their 21 oz. signature Bloody Mary. According to the menu - "The best Bloody Mary you'll ever have!" Methinks not. It was bland. BLAND! It didn't even taste like tomato juice. It had ZERO spice to it. The best part was the two large olives stuffed in it. There was also a shrimp on the rim and I love shrimp, but this thing grossed me out. It was hard and tasteless. I drank about half of this hideous concoction and ended up accidentally knocking it over and spilling the rest. Let's just say, I wasn't that sad that most of it ended up on the floor next to my table. 2. The Spinach Florentine Eggs Benedict. First issue: The Hollandaise sauce was BRIGHT ELECTRIC YELLOW. It started to separate/break on top of my eggs, leaving me with a puddle of grease and some yellow gross substance. The Spinach Florentine aspect of it was another greasy nightmare. It tasted like spinach tossed with mayo. The only redeeming quality was the two eggs. The yolk actually salvaged it. The English muffins were soggy and tasteless once coated in the yellow goop. I LOVE Eggs Benedict, but I didn't even finish half of this mess. 3. Our Server. He was super unfriendly and brusque with us. He began by being really attentive, but as we sat there he avoided us more. 4. The Prices. Everything was overpriced for the quality. Like I said, this place is ONLY open because of its prime location on the ocean. I would say, save your money and take the short drive down Lake Avenue and find somewhere else to have breakfast.

Great location from the beach! I asked the server what their most popular drink is and she suggested the Bloody Marys (pictured). They were $8 and worth it! They are served with a JUMBO shrimp, and all the usual Bloody Mary fixins. They were delicious! I'm a seafoody and had the beach sampler ($16) with raw clams, raw oysters, and fish dip. It was great! Everything was very fresh! I couldn't get enough!! I was a little skeptical about the "fish dip" but it truly exceeded my expectations! It was great paired with pita crackers. Boyfriend had a burger ($12) and fries. He gives it 4/5. Was a good tasting burger, nothing awespiring though. Fries were those amazing crispy seasoned fries you crave! You know which ones!! Our server was great (unfortunately I didn't get her name). All the staff seemed nice. (The hostess seemed a little awkward and unhappy though). Overall, it was a great experience and we will be returning next time we visit!

We stayed across the street and used the public beach right there by the restaurant so we ate lunch here twice. Food was good. Portions were large. Fries were really good. Prices were a bit high but I expect that with a TON of contained people & limited options. Service both times was so/so - friendly just a bit non-attentive. Going back for cocktails tonight.
